Margo, the Giftinator
Since before Margo's birth, friends and family have been presenting us with gifts. In the almost four short months since Margo was born, we have received a lot of useful gifts from people who have had children and swear by the products that they have given us, or clothes that have clothed Margo from birth to well into the future, and a lot of educational toys and books that have really done wonders to help develop the baby's dexterity and consciousness.
(As I write this, Margo is in her swing behind me. The swing was not a gift, but was highly recommended. I think that she's too tired for it right now, though, because on every swing, as she tries to put the rattle lion into her mouth, she pokes herself in the eye with his hard plastic paw. Yeah, we'll wait on the swing for now.)
For all the gifts, shower gifts, Christmas gifts, "no reason" gifts, and especially for the well-wishes, thank you. We really do appreciate all the people who have thought of Margo over these past few months.
There's another sort of gift, too: the gifts that are sort of for Margo, but really for us. Kind of like when you go to a children's movie, but there are a lot of references that only the parents would understand. And those gifts are okay too. Case in point would be the "Trogdor the Burninator" t-shirt that an old roommate gave me. Though it provided minutes of drool-free clothing for Margo, the memories of university days, wasting time watching web-based cartoons, were priceless to me. Thanks, T! (that's code for Terry)

I apologize right now if we have not been able to properly send thank you cards, but given that Margo has entered a stage where she's craving constant attention, and that I started this post 9 hours and 24 minutes ago, please know that we appreciate everything that people have done for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed Trogdor! I completely missed that class. ;-)
