The Big Move

Big developments in the world of, um, developments. Margo's neck control and muscle tone means that she's holding her head up, not bobbing as much, and really just showing her head who's in control. This means that we can now move her from facing our chests when she's in the halter to facing out toward the world, allowing her to check everything out.

The operative word here is check everything out. She isn't quite tall enough to free up her mouth to allow her to comment on anything, but that will come. Incidentally, we roughly measured her at 25½" long, or 119 metres tall in metric.

She seems to enjoy having her mouth pressed up against the fabric, because she's taking to licking and sucking everything. I guess that this is the precursor to putting everything she can grab into her mouth, because she can't yet grab everything. And some of her general malaise is put to rest by rubbing our fingers over her gums. I can't really feel any bumps along the gums, so her fussiness probably isn't teething. I don't know, I have no clue about when these things should happen.




Looking for treasure on that last one. Or maybe she decided to clamp down on one of my finger sausages.

Margo just keeps getting cuter!
I remember Violet noisily sucking her BabyBjorn on walks. There would always be a huge wet patch pressed against her face.
Gross.

Margo is absolutely adorable...You should warn her that if she doesn't stop being so cute, she'll be to blame should a Sara Jr. #2 come along!
