Teaching the '80s a Lesson
The first cold of the season, and it hit all three of us. I think that we're all better, but it was hard to watch Margo go through her stuffy nose and general crankiness. I think what helped most was buying a humidifier for our room and running it through the night. It tended to help with having to constantly clear our throats, and softened up Margo's nasal cavity to help in clearing her up.
It did, however, have one side effect.
Margo is 100% my daughter, and if I have passed anything on through my genes, it would have to be my hair. And what happens when curly hair hits humidity?
Big... hair...
If I may prove my point through this pictorial:
What Margo is missing in volume, she makes up for in better singing. And acting, in the case of Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
So, sorry for the hair genes. I'm sure I passed some good ones on to you too. And I can teach you what looks to cultivate so that you don't have to ever comb your hair, if that's of any consolation. Slob chic. C'est très in.

5:41 p.m.Don't you dare touch her hair. You have no idea how much fun your four sisters had with your hair when you were young enough to let us touch you. I haven't played with a Barbie doll since.
