Crouching Tiger, Sitting Margo
Three months old. Three genie wishes. Three blind mice. Three wise men. Three wise guys. One of these applies to Margo.
The latest developments has been that she has learned, all on her own, to razz. I guess that this is a normal development, because it's not like we're teaching her how to razz with her lips. We have been trying to teach her how to pickpocket, mind you, but that's a more advanced skill.
She has also stopped making noise/talking while breathing in. Donna, she's booksmart. She probably knew that this was something learned. Me... I can barely read the funny pages without losing interest, so I didn't realized that this was learned. In my defence, funny pages aren't that funny anymore.
The biggie though, and she hasn't quite reached the mark yet, but it's coming, is sitting up. She likes sitting up; it fits within her paradigm (no need for a paradigm shift), and through training her by telling her "un, deux, trois, on se lève," she seems to have learned that this means that her arms will soon be pulled and she needs to assume the proper sitting position.
Kind of hard to explain. It helps with photos. Notice the face grunts, the leg position, the tensed arms.

But why sit when you can lie down? Next, we'll be expecting her to stand. What's in it for her to learn how to sit? What benefit could come of all this exertion? The answer...
...rocking chair-a-go-go.
