D day has arrived
Today is Margo's due date. She has now officially held out long enough to earn herself a September birthday, thereby ensuring prominent space for herself in the Le Sann family calendar, lovingly constructed each year by my lovely mom in law, Emma. No other September birthdays/anniversaries m
eans it can be mainly Margo. You go, girl!
But enough already. Baby girl, it's time to join us on the outside. I know you're likely nice and warm, cosy as all get out, but really - you will have much more room to stretch and grow out here. We have a lovely room all ready for you (although you're welcome to sleep in mommy and daddy's room for the first little while - we don't mind!). I hereby ban you from further growth in utero. Mamma is stretched to the max, I think. As the picture beside clearly demonstrates, there's no more room in there. So I'm begging - come on out and meet us.
And to my loyal readers, I'm sure these entreaties are getting a bit stale, but it's basically all I can think about. We've entered into that weird time where everyone feels the need to inform us if they plan on leaving their house, for fear of missing the phone call (guys, I love you all - but she WILL be around for awhile . . .like her whole lifetime - please don't wait around for a phone call - no sense in more than a few of us doing that, and I'm even trying to get out and about as much as possible.) We are also hesitating on purchasing groceries, making plans, and the like. It's very strange!
So 40 weeks has gone by. This is by all accounts a full term pregnancy now . . . and there is for sure a light at the end of the tunnel - within 14 days I can promise you news, since I will be induced at 42 weeks if there's been no baby. At least that's something! I'm off to have a lie down, just because I can. Hugs to everyone.
