No dropping action . . .
. . well maybe just a little. Seems lil' Margo is not fully engaged, but is perhaps a bit lower than last week. The midwife can still move her head, but maybe not as much as before?? Hmmm. Go Low, baby girl. Everything else was looking good. It's possible that Sandra will offer to do a 'membrane sweep' next week, since I'll be past 40 weeks. That is, if Margo hasn't changed her mind and come on her own. (for those of you not in the know, a membrane sweep is an attempt to get one of the three hormones needed to put me in labour activated. - the other two come from my brain and Margo's brain - I just learned this today!!)
But good news is that Margo's position is perfect . .she's no longer posterior, and her back is now firmly on my left side. Awesome! So she's sorta getting the right idea. Waiting is hard ! It certainly doesn't help that my midwife got a call from a client who went into labour . . at 37 weeks. And here I sit, sipping my raspberry leaf tea and hoping for the soonest arrival of our daughter.
