The End of the Summer, When Geese Migrate South and Blogs Migrate to Blogger
Sorry for the hassle of moving, but Typepad costs money and Blogger doesn't, and that's money that could go to Margo's education.
Paltry money, perhaps, but that's the father that I'm going to be, keeping the thermostat set at a comfortable 15˚C in the winter and suggesting that the family share desserts, under the guise of family unity.
It might seem silly now, but after 18 years, our daughter will get the best post-secondary education that the $1069.20 that switching from Typepad can afford! (re: University of Ottawa Public Library, with a specialization in Living at Home Until She's 49.)
We'll see if we can boost the education fund with other cuts to frivolous activities, like buying toothbrushes.
