On the Fourth Day, God Created Caca

Ben Franklin once wrote that fish and houseguests start to smell after three days. Ben, let me tell you something about umbilical cord stumps... I've visited industrial hog barns of Hutterite colonies, and they don't hold a torch to cords that are about to fall off.

The breast milk fairy has visited Donna, and the breast milk bowel movement fairy has visited Margo, so everything seems to be going smoothly in these departments. Number 1 Daughter never looks quite so contented as when she's feeding (a LeSann/Mandeville who likes to eat?!), and the faces that she makes run the gamut. She's going to have a pretty spectacular smile and laugh. Maybe she already does, but doesn't share my sense of humour.

(Well, Donna thought that it was funny.)

Speaking of MamaDonna, check out this post-birth hottie.

I was also able to get a better close-up of the girl.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for other fascinating entries such as "Things They Don't Tell About Childbirth" and "Blackmail and Embarassment Photos 101: How to Get and Early Start."
