The evolution of crawling

Margo has moved beyond mere reaching and rolling and has developed the next stage in her desire to be totally mobile. She now likes to spend time on all fours, rocking her bum forward and back and in this manner, somehow moves herself backwards. She gets herself stuck against furniture on a regular basis, as she did this morning .
It's an evolution. Margo even likes to wake up in the middle of the night to practice. Two nights ago she woke up at 11 and was going nuts on the bed on all fours, happy as a clam. Mamma wasn't so happy, and after half an hour brought her to Papa, who was still up in the other room. She was awake for more than an hour after that before Michel brought her back into bed, but was much more subdued, it was reported. Lucky papa.

It's almost the weekend again, and I don't know where this week went. It's been pretty cold here, and we haven't gone out much. Today we're going to do some errands after the belle margo has her morning nap. Windchill be damned, I'm feeling too housebound to stay in one more day.
