Mom's just gotta have faith
Picture this: Friday afternoon playgroup, our house.
The door bell rings intermittently, with parents/babies arriving.
10 parents, 10 babies, ranging in age from 4 -13 months.

When I re-enter the room, much to my surprise, Margo is sitting up, looking around. Not propped, not being held. Simply sitting there as though she's been doing it all her life.
I spurt "ummm, she doesn't know how to sit." The mom closest to her (who had been the one to sit her up), responds "Oh? She's doing a pretty fine job of it."
Just then, Margo tilts to one side, and is caught by the mom, who puts the pillow behind her.
Margo looks at me and smiles. Apparently I just have to believe.
She was happy to sit up today quite a few times, sometimes for as long as a few minutes. Amazing.
Here she is, playing with her new farm from Auntie Laurie and Uncle Dan (a Christmas gift given, I think, so that she can remember her roots. She really likes it - thanks guys)

In A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, flying is just a matter of tripping and forgetting to hit the ground. I think that sitting up by yourself is just a question of being distracted away from remembering that you don't have a sense of balance.
And being sober.

Donna, that is scarry with 10 mothers and babies in your house at one time.
Does this happen over and over again but at different houses?
One good thing might be that Margo will be use to having others, her age, aroound her.
