She can hold her head up.
Nice and tall.
Apparently this is a major milestone.
Margo and I had our 6 week discharge appointment with the midwife yesterday. We're both doing very well. The midwife was suitably impressed with Margo's growth and so was I. Michel and I like to guess her weight befor appointments, and we both underestimated our daughter! (Bad us). She is up to 11 lbs 8 oz, which means she has gained just over an ounce a day over the last two weeks. The midwife didn't have to ask how breastfeeding was going, as the proof is in the puddin'. (If by puddin', I mean baby).
And I do.
Today my wonderful hunk of a husband is rushing home after work to take over so that I can go out and celebrate Sheena's birthday in style by partaking in an after work drink with the girls. Go greet Sheena over at The Casual Baker - she's always got something good cooking. Happy Birthday, girlfriend! May you have the cakiest of cakes, the birthdayiest of birthdays.
