When Life Imitates Cartoons
Last Sunday, strolling around the farmer's market, we couldn't help but notice all the other babies, and how they seemed bundled up as though the German siege on Leningrad was in its third winter month (but with a lot less guns and artillery around). We kept on wondering if we were bad parents for not wrapping her up in seven layers of clothes. She already seemed so warm, even sweating at the back of her neck (granted, it could have been a wicked pee). So we tried the snowsuit thing.

The look works on some kids. Like Maggie Simpson. Margo... not so much.
New developments: her hand makes its way to her mouth quite readily when she's hungry, with a strong suck. She's going through clothes like nobody's business, solidly out of the so-called 0-3 month onesies. And just today, while changing her diaper, I tickled her feet and she laughed. Could have been a coincidence, but she was looking right at me and it was timed awfully well.
