Memorial for a Basement

There was a time when we had a basement. It was orderly and reclaimed from the previous occupant's cat's litter box. We went to movies then. Movies in theatres.

Now it's full of baby stuff. Baby stuff that's too big for Maude, too small for Margo, contraptions that never worked on Margo and we have yet to buy batteries to see if they work on Maude, and things for a garage sale. One thing precariously perched on top of another. Soon, we will need 2x4 supports to prop the improbable columns of stuff up.

We miss you, basement.

- Michel

p.s. it's going to one !@#$% of a garage sale. Look for the firework beacons.
