A Family That Practices Good Oral Hygiene Together Stays Together

Margo has been... uh... what is the word that I'm looking for... volatile these past few days. At first, we thought that it might just be that we pushed her bedtimes too far, too often, but this was a new kind of crying. Or was it?

Because I'm smarte, I realized that it was a pattern kind of similar to teething. Hey, look at me! I'm all parent-ey and stuff! Unfortunately, Margo has been quite reticent to let us inspect her teeth and gums these past few days. Probably our fault for letting her watch that documentary on how to tell if a horse is ready for the glue factory by checking its teeth. Margo, I vow to you right now never to send you to a glue factory. Unless it's part of a school trip, in which case, Margo, I vow to you right now that if your school takes you to a glue factory on a school trip, we'll look for other schools.

I was finally able to check her gums, and there was, in fact, another tooth getting ready to break through. Had I had more time, I could have inspected the rest, but you take what you can get. This will bring the tooth count to 9. And in the interest of better oral hygiene, I present to you a short film called Margo Gets Her Teeth Brushed. It's a bio-pic about a girl named Margo, and she gets her teeth brushed, but the underlying theme is really Good vs. Evil.

- Michel

Note to self: Don't read The Margoville Gazette at new job, as co-workers may (a) find the spontaneous eruptions of laughter distracting, and (b) think I'm a nut bar for laughing at my computer screen.

As I just did. Thank goodness for an empty house.

That is so darn cute.
Margo doesn't mind the brushing of the teeth at this point. She seems to enjoy toothpaste or whatever and biting the toothbrush.
That is the highlite of the day.
