The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of Margo
The great thing about this blog is that, some day, Margo will be able to read through it to see what life was like "back in the day." And in a lot of other posts, we've covered one or two things that Margo likes, but we haven't really put them all together.
So with the help of our friends Rodgers and Hammerstein, I would like to give Adult Margo a taste of what some of 7-Month Old Margo's favourite things are, Sound of Music old school-style.
Each One of These is My Favourite Thing
Loose-knit afghans and Papa's chin whiskers
Pages of yellow and open dishwashers
The blades that go round on the fan on the ceiling
Each one of these is my favourite thing
Dancing with Mommy and when Papa comes home
Minou at bedtime and my hair being combed
Wires and cables and the kids' songs we sing
Each one of these is my favourite thing
Smearing food on my face when I try to eat
Distracting my bad mood by chewing my feet
Rescues from nap-time when I wake up crying
Each one of these is my favourite thing
When I fall down, when my rash stings
When changing my diaper goes bad
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so sad.

a note: please use volume when watching the movie of me eating margo's feet. She's laughing. Hard.
Michel, you kinda kill me a bit with your humour.
