Those Hair Genes

Seeing characteristics in your children that come from you is magic. Sometimes though, Mother Nature has a funny way of saying "gotcha". In our girls, one gene that is present is the Michel Hair Gene. I wasn't sure that Maude was blessed, but recent photos demonstrate that the Michel Hair Gene is indeed hardwired.

And you all must remember that Margo was well afflicted also.
If only I could be so lucky. You can marry into it, but it's not contagious, only genetic.

Maude, every time I see a picture of you, you change, This is happening so fast.
You can sit up like a big girl and right you do have a lot of hair and nice and curly.
Mama says that it is like papa's.
That looks so beautiful,I am anxious to see how you will look after it when you grow up.
Love you Maude, from Grandmaman

Gotcha, Grandmaman. The second picture is of Margo. See? They do look alike, hey? Maude is not sitting up yet.
