For the Record: Snow
It's been about three weeks since the last massive snowstorm, and luckily, a lot of snow has melted in the meantime and Spring is definitely showing signs of coming.
For the record, though, I just wanted to show Margo that her second winter ever was pretty excessive, with roughly 420 cm of snow (I think that I heard that Ottawa averages under 250 cm a season).

At the same time as the blizzard, Margo's aunt, Tati Julie, who lives in Los Angeles, went to Joshua Tree National Park in California and took this photo.
For all of us who have experienced record-breaking snow levels, for those of us who can't afford or do not like travelling to sun destinations with toddlers, for the elementary school students in Quebec who only recently were allowed to return to school without fearing that the roof will collapse on them, and for our two neighbours, one of whom saw his eavestroughs rip off under the weight of the snow, and the other who panickedly asked me not to walk down the driveway with Margo for fear of her being impaled with meter long icicles that weigh more than Margo, may I say...
Boooooo... hisss...

I imagine that was an attempt to have me feel sorry for y'all. Let me put it to the test....no...no....it's not coming.
If it'll make you feel better, I had to put a sweater on this morning while I was warming my ca...wait...I don't have to warm up my car, cause well, I don't have to. And I ride my bike to work. Well, at least twice a week I try. The rest of the week I just can't get out of bed soon enough to cycle. I suppose having Margo here would correct that.
Love you
Tati Julie
